The Regulations, among other things: insert a new regulation 6A on monitoring of radioactive substances; insert new Schedule 2A, which sets parametric values for the radioactive substances parameters; insert new Schedule 3A, which includes further monitoring requirements for the radioactive substances parameters; insert new Schedule 5, which makes provision for additional sampling and analysis requirements in relation to the radioactive substances parameters listed in the new Schedule 2A.
