Abstract These Regulations, made under the Water Industry Act 1991, specify exceptions on a rule, introduced by the Act as amended by the Water Act 2003, which poses certain conditions at which water undertakers are to grant licensed water suppliers access to their supply systems. One of these rules, which requires a certain amount of water to be supplied by a licensed water supplier to their customer during a given period (“the treshold requirement”) shall be not be applied in circumstances as defined in these Regulations.
