Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister of Water Resources and Infrastructural Development, in terms of subsection 119 of the Water Act, requires every permit holder to pay to the respective subcatchment Council to which the permit relates for the performance of duties assigned to it by the catchment Council, rates calculated as set out by these Regulations. The Zimbabwe National Water Authority shall pay to respective subcatchment councils a rate as per the Schedule per megalitre of water it has supplied to other persons in the quarter immediately preceding that in which payment is made under any agreement with such persons made by virtue of a permit issued to it for the purposes of subsection (1) of section 39 of the Water Act.
