Applications for approval on discharge of wastewater must be made in a manner to be determined by SPAN. Prohibited effluent includes, amongst other things, any discharge and substance that affects the disposal of sewage sludge as organic compound and discharges having a toxic effect in the watercourse that constitute a hazard to humans or animals.
