No person shall build sceptic tanks or pit-latrines at a distance of 220 yards from a borehole or construct sceptic tanks of more than 5000 gallons without approval of the Minister. Every well shall be constructed in such matter as to prevent pollution of water. No person shall, without written consent of the Minister, discharge effluents in public water. Applications for approval shall be in the form as specified in the Schedule. The Board shall publish applications and the Board shall consider applications and objections.
