Abstract These Regulations amend the principal Regulations 1999, which require water and sewerage undertakers' charges schemes to reflect provision for certain groups of people on low incomes who receive child benefit for three or more children or who need significantly more water because of a medical condition, and state the nature of the assistance to be provided to those groups. Regulation 2 amends regulation 2(2) of the 1999 Regulations so as to provide assistance for households where extra water is needed for a dependent child suffering from a medical condition, and makes a minor amendment to regulation 3 of those Regulations.
