These Regulations entered into force on 30 June 2015.
Abstract

These provisions lay down some amendments to the Waste Management (Waste Batteries and Accumulators) Regulations. The amendments concern separate collection for portable batteries and accumulators, registration of producers, information and reporting duties of producers, and the issue of the permit required to operate a waste batteries and accumulators collection, treatment and recycling scheme.
