Abstract

These Regulations provide for the control of all operations relating to the production and management of waste and promote sound waste management practices so as to safeguard human health and the environment. "Waste" is defined in regulation 2 and the Environment Protection Act. "Waste management" includes storage, collection, sorting, transportation and disposal of waste, and related services and activities defined in regulation 2.
