Abstract

The present Ordinance implements, inter alia, the Environment Protection Law of 13 March 1991 and the Federal Environment Protection Act of 7 October 1983. Article 1 establishes that waste shall be recycling only if: a) it is technically possible and economically feasible ; b) the process is environment friendly; c) there is a market for the products or is in the making. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Duty to recycling (1); Incineration of organic waste from field, forest and garden (2); Licensing for waste plants (3); Enforcement (4); Provisions on waste collection and waste plants (5); Amendment (6).
