Abstract

These Regulations supplement the Waste management (Permit and Control) Regulations 2001 in preventing or limiting as far as possible, negative effects on the environment, in particular pollution by emissions into air, soil, surface water and groundwater, and the resulting risks to human health, from incineration and co-incineration of waste.
