Abstract

In addition to the measures laid down in the Waste Management (Permit and Control) Regulations of 2001, the present Regulations provide measures and procedures which aim at (i) the prevention of waste from vehicles, (ii) the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of end of life vehicles and their components, so as to reduce the disposal of waste.
