Regulation 2 is amended to reflect the updates in the European legislation. Regulations 3 is amended to add new or revise existing definitions. Regulation 5 is also amended and a new regulation 8A is added after regulation 8 regarding the proof of recovery, the preparation for reuse, the recycling or disposal, for which the duty rests on the self-compliant producer or the waste electrical and electronic equipment collective organization. Regulation 13A is amended and, after regulation 15 a new regulation 15A is added concerning the incentives provided by the Minister for the application of the waste hierarchy. Regulations 16, 19, 21 and 22 are amended and regulation 23 is substituted by a new regulation concerning the obligations binding the operator of a waste electrical and electronic equipment collective organization. Regulation 24 is amended. Also schedules 9 and 13 are amended to reflect the changes in numbering occurred all along the text. Schedule 14 is substituted.
