Abstract

The present Act introduces some amendments to the Waste Management Act 2002 (BGBl. I, No.102/2002). In particular, the Act adds, inter alia, article 59a on Control of the hazards of major accidents involving Seveso substances; article 59b on General operator obligation; article 59c on Burden of proof; article 59d on Notices from the owner of the Seveso establishment; article 59e on Security concept; article 59f on Safety report; article 59g on Certification and modification of safety concept or safety report; article 59h on Internal emergency plan; article 59i on Domino effect; article 59j on Information obligation; article 59k on Inspection system; article 59l on Obligations of authorities; article 59m on Federal Alarm Centre.
