Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the incineration of waste. In particular, its purpose is, inter alia, to: 1) protect the life and health of human beings against harmful effects resulting from incineration of waste; 2) run incineration plants in such a way as to keep emissions at a very low level; 3) promote an efficient use of energy. The text consists of 20 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Aims (1); Application forms (2); Threshold values (3); Other than normal working conditions (4). Six Annexes are enclosed.
