Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act 1999. In particular, the Regulations lays down provisions relating to the protection of the population from vinyl chloride release. Section 4 establishes that no operator of a vinyl chloride plant shall release from any process vent vinyl chloride in excess of the amount laid down in the present section. The text consists of 12 sections and 6 Schedules.
