Abstract The present Regulations enact the Environment Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the management of used oil. In particular, section 5 establishes that no person shall sell, offer for sale, transfer, use or otherwise dispose of used oil to any person who is not a used oil collector or to any facility that is not a used oil return facility. The text – consisting of 15 sections – deals with the following aspects: administrator, designation, limitations on sale, transfer or use, approvals, used oil storage facility, approval renewal, contaminated used oil, dilution of contaminated used oil, prohibition against adding substances, and used oil return facility.
