Abstract

The Ordinance provides for the protection of sea and river turtles as defined in section 2. It prohibits the taking of turtles under a specified size and in specified periods. In declared periods it shall also be prohibited to take eggs of turtles or to slaughter or sell turtles. Sections 4 to 5 concern measures of enforcement such arrest, seizure and forfeiture.
