Abstract These Regulations, in accordance with the provisions of the national Nature Protection Act 1991, and after having consulted the Gibraltar Nature Conservancy Council, are here setting the Tuna fish protection and fishing control provisions, as regards several related topics such as permits, administrative and technical conditions and fish size standards, fishing season, scientific research, and possible offences and consequential penalties. These Regulations apply to any land covered (continuously or intermittently) by waters and all of the sea within British Gibraltar Territorial Waters.
