It confers powers on the Scottish Ministers in relation to tuberculosis and provides for the approval of veterinary surgeons for the purposes of applying and reading a relevant test for tuberculosis. Positive or inconclusive test results shall be reported to the Scottish Ministers. Vaccination or treatment of animals for tuberculosis shall be prohibited without the consent of Scottish Ministers.
