It also confers powers on the Secretary of State in relation to tuberculosis in England and makes provision for precautions against spread of infection of bovine animals. It also makes provision with respect to the notification of disease in animals and carcasses, approval of veterinary surgeons, testing, isolation and restrictions on movement of animals, marking of bovine animals and restrictions on use of milk from suspect cows for feed to other mammals.
