Abstract

These Regulations concern import declarations or notifications before the entry of consignments of animals, food, feedingstuffs or plants into the territory of Malta. Any person engaged in the trade of such products shall be registered with the Food Safety Commission. Furthermore, the trader is required to notify the Veterinary Services if the consignment consists of animals, feedingstuffs or food of animal origin intended for human consumption. The Public Health Department is to be notified as well.
