Abstract

These Regulations provide rules for the activity of dolphin and whale watching, i.e. viewing, from a pleasure craft, dolphins and whales in the territorial sea. Persons who provide such activities against the payment of a fee shall obtain a licence from the Tourism Authority. The Regulations set out rules for navigation when approaching dolphins or whales and prohibit entering within a specified range of such marine mammals. The Authority may issue guidelines as it for dolphin and whale watching.
