The primary objective of this Act is to ensure the protection of human health. Tobacco products mean products for the purposes of smoking, chewing, sucking or sniffing, inasmuch as they are, even partly, made of tobacco. Tobacco products are classified as smoking and smokeless tobacco products. Retail trade in tobacco products is permitted to undertakings concerning which a registration has been made in the register of economic activities which also indicates the right to engage in retail trade in tobacco products.
