The Ordinance deals with the following aspects: delimitation of wine growing areas, re-planting of vine, classification of vine, production of quality wine, levying of taxes for the German Wine Fund, expert committee, restructuring, calculations for clearing of land, notification on oenological control proceedings, accompanying papers, denomination in the Wine Registry, labelling, simplified accounting, competence, penalties, violations and gender equalization.
