The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2008.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Ordinance is, inter alia, the efficient enforcement of the Potable Water Ordinance of 21 May 2001 (BGBl. I p. 959). In particular, the Ordinance designates bodies responsible for the correct application of the afore-mentioned Ordinance. The text consists of 6 articles.
