It makes substitutions in sections 52 and 53 of the Principal Act relating to seizure of property in case of an offence and release thereof. It inserts a new section 66A for abatement of an offence and substitutes section 68 of the Principal Act relating to compounding of offences. It also increases the fines provided in section 63 of the Principal Act and section 71 in respect of fines levied for cattle trespass in reserved or protected forests.
