Abstract

The Food (Promotion and Placement) (England) Regulations 2021 restricts the promotion of specified foods and drinks as described in Regulation 3 and Schedule 1 (these include products that high in fat, sugar and salt) to medium and large businesses that sell food and drinks in England. The restrictions apply to price promotion and placement of the products in store entrances, aisle ends and checkouts and their online equivalents.
