Abstract

These Regulations provide for the protection of the "Beveridge Reef Designated Fishery" designated by these Regulations in accordance with section 12 of the Territorial Sea and Exclusive Economic Zone Act to ensure the conservation and efficient use of the fishery in the region of Beveridge Reef. The Regulations provide that no person shall knowingly destroy or damage a reef within the Beveridge Reef Designated Fishery except with and in accordance with the approval of an authorized officer.
