Abstract

This Order introduces measures to prevent the spreading and control of swine fever in Jersey and applies article 8 of the Law and the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Jersey) Order 1958 to swine fever. Article 8 empowers the Minister to order slaughtering of diseased animals.
