They, among other things; (a) amend regulation 2 to include a definition of "relevant food compounds"; (b) insert regulation 5A on compound foods and make consequential amendments; amend regulation to provide that paragraph (4) applies food for infants and young children not in good health; (d) amend regulation 5 so as to exclude for a transitional period acts which would have been in compliance with the regulations before amendment and to exempt, in certain conditions, sweeteners and food from other member countries; (e) incorporate in Schedule 1 permitted sweeteners and food in relation thereto and maximum usable dose for each such sweetener.
