Abstract This Sustainable pesticide use monitoring Programme for the year 2021, based on the provisions of the national Law on plant protection products, determines the perpetrators, number of facilities and checklists for farms where pesticides are used and stored. The goal of the Programme is to check the conditions of facilities for storage of plant protection products on agricultural farms, and it sets priorities in accordance with risk analysis, based on the size of agricultural land, and evidence of identified irregularities in order to determine the condition of facilities where pesticides are stored. Any change in storage conditions in relation to prescribed rules should be recorded and eliminated because it can lead to changes in pesticide itself and it can directly affect their effectiveness but also can have an impact on human health, plants (phytotoxicity) and environment. The Programme aims to identify irregularities in order to eliminate them and implement timely activities with the goal of elimination of potential danger to humans, plants, animals or environment.
