Abstract

The aim of the present Ordinance is the indication of chemical parameters for surface waters to be achieved in compliance with environmental quality standards relating to harmful substances. The Ordinance contains at the outset a definition clause containing various terms employed therein, such as "parameter", "synthetic harmful substances", "non-synthetic harmful substances", "other harmful substances", "environment quality standards". Article 6 lays down provisions relating to requirements for measurements of environmental quality standards. There have to be at least 12 individual measurements of waters in order to establish a parameter. The text consists of 9 articles and 4 Annexes.
