Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Immission Protection Act – Air (BGBl. No. 115/1997). The purpose of the present Ordinance is to curb air pollution and above all to protect human beings, animals and plants, the soil, water, the atmosphere as well as cultural assets against harmful effects on the environment deriving from air pollution.
