Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 21 January 2012.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Immission Protection Act – Air (BGBl. No. 115/1997). The purpose of the present Ordinance is to curb air pollution and above all to protect human beings, animals and plants, the soil, water, the atmosphere as well as cultural assets against harmful effects on the environment deriving from air pollution. The text consist of 8 articles as follows: Purpose (1); Rehabilitation areas (2); Driving restrictions for heavy vehicles (3); Minimum emissions standards for taxis (4); Measures for agriculture (5); Manure facilities (6); Entry into force (7); Repeal (8).
