Abstract

These Regulations implement the Environmental Protection Act by further providing on the storage of PCBs wastes, which are PCB liquids, PCB solids and PCB equipment that have been taken out of service for the purpose of disposal, where PCBs are the chlorobiphenyls that have the molecular formula C12H10-nCln in which "n" is greater than 2. The Regulations provide for storage sites (sect. 3), the rights and duties of owners and operators of such sites (sect. 4), inspections (sect. 5), warning sites and labels (sect. 6) and related record keeping.
