Abstract

This regulation implements the Stock Act 1915 by setting provisions on the movement of cattle (sect. 7), the identification of cattle (sect. 8), the use of breeder and post breeder tags (sect. 8A), registration of holdings and their transfer (sects. 10 – 12) and tags for declaring that no hormonal growth promotants have been used in a stock (sect. 14). The regulation is completed by one schedule containing a dictionary of terms relevant for this regulation.
