Abstract

The document is applicable to pound net fishing within Qaasuitsup Municipality (attached Appendix 1 map). Users of such fishing methods shall be liable to mark the area to the extension of at least 1.5 meters above ground. Bottom yarn shall be set at least 500 meters from another pound. Long-line fishing and jigging is prohibited within a distance of 100 meters from an exposed nets and anchoring is prohibited within a distance of 50 meters from other nets.
