Abstract

The Statute sets regulations relating to fishing for trout in two managed areas Sisimiut and Maniitsoq - Qeqqata Municipality. The areas are shown in the enclosed Appendix 1. Trout fishing with nets is allowed between 1 July and 31 August in the area of Sisimiut. In Maniitsoq char fishing with gillnets is allowed between 15 June and 25 September. Commercial fishing activities may operate between 15 June and 31 August for fish trout with nets Sisimiut coordinates listed under article 3, section 2. For what concerns the use of traps in the Sisimiut area listed under article 4, the local council may grant exemption in the authorization for use of traps.
