Abstract

These Regulations prescribe standards and requirements regarding prunes and plums in respect of which an approval for the export is required in terms of section 4 of the Agricultural Products Standards Act. The rules concern, among other things: quality and classes of plums and prunes; (chemical) treatments, packing and marking requirements including traceability of products; and sampling and inspection. The Regulations also set out the requirements for approval referred to in section 4 of the Act.
