Abstract These Regulations amend the principal Regulations so as to remove burdens which were not intended: the principal Regulations shall not apply to food derived from animals which were slaughtered or died outside the United Kingdom which is either food not listed in Schedule 1 to the Specified Risk Material Order 1997, or food listed but was, or any ingredients in it containing specified risk material were imported in accordance with article 6 of that Order, or to carcasses of a sheep or goat slaughtered before the 1st of January 1998.
