Abstract

The present Ordinance by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Environment and Water Resources implements, inter alia, the Wine Act 2009. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the production and designation of Austrian sparkling wine. The text -consisting of 7 articles – deals with the following aspects: names under which such products are sold, inspection by the Federal Office for Viticulture, specific sign for "Austrian Sparkling Wine protected origin", entry into force, transitional provisions.
