The area designated is defined in article 3 and Schedule 1. The protected features of the marine protected area are specified by article 4 and Schedule 2. they include habitats of burrowed mud, mearl, seagrass with various aquatic plants or animals. The conservation objectives of the marine protected area are set out in article 5.
