Abstract

The present Ordinance implements EU-directives with a view to the granting of subsidies for skimmed milk and skimmed milk powder. Article 2 establishes that the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food is entrusted with the enforcement of the present Ordinance. The text – consisting of 12 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: sphere of application, competence, authorization of production and processing enterprises, obligation to notify, obligation to register, obligation to conserve records, experts, applications for subsidies, marketing of skimmed milk to another member state and entry into force.
