Abstract

These Regulations, for purposes of article 13 of the Shipping (Jersey) Law 2002, provide for the measurement and certification of vessels, including fishing vessels, which are 24 metres in length or over and are registered or are to be registered in Jersey under Part 3 of the Law. The Regulations also provide for indication in an International Tonnage Certificate of segregated ballast tanks complying with Regulation 13 of Annex 1 of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships 1973.
