Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Waste Water Ordinance, in its version of 17 June 2004 (BGBl. I p. 1108, 2625). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the self-monitoring of water supply and waste water plants. Article 2 establishes that whoever runs such a facility has to carry out self-monitoring procedures that meet the minimum requirements of the present Ordinance. The text consists of 14 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Extent of self-control (2); Realization of self-control (3); Control of discharge by third parties (4); Monitoring of supply channels (5); Operation log book (6); Evidence of self-control (7); Duty to register (8); Exceptions (9); Analyses of waste water (10); Special controlling bodies (11); Penalties (12); Transitional provisions (13); Entry into force, expiry (14). Six Annexes are enclosed.
