These Regulations lay down security requirements for power generating and supply installations as specified in these Regulations, including dams or other water flow-regulation facilities capable of storing at least 5 million cubic metres of water. The principal purpose of the Regulations is to protect such installations against damage in the event of acts of war or sabotage. They place restrictions on visits to such installations and the hiring of foreigners.
