Abstract

These Regulations provide for the manner in which licences issued in respect of English fishing boats, and fishing boats registered in the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man are to be granted, varied, suspended or revoked. They apply in relation to a licence under section 4 (licensing of fishing boats) or 4A (licensing of vessels receiving transshipped fish) of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 in respect of a relevant fishing boat. They also concern notices varying, suspending or revoking such licences and communication of licences and notices.
