These Regulations prescribe the requirement to keep a logbook on board on fishing boats for the time being within the territorial sea adjacent to Jersey. The master of a British fishing boat or a Community fishing boat with an overall length of 10 metres or more shall keep a logbook of the operations of that boat and shall enter into the logbook details specified in the Regulations. The Regulations also require masters of non-British fishing boats to notify landing of fish and require masters of fishing boats with an overall length of 10 metres or more to submit a landing declaration.
