Abstract

These Regulations provide for the prohibition of gillnet fishing for tuna and other species. The master, owner, charterer or hirer of an Irish sea-fishing boat or foreign fishing boat as the case may be, must comply with rules laid down in Council Regulation (EC) No. 894/97.
