Abstract

These Regulations, made under Article 2(4B) of the Sea Fisheries (Jersey) Law 19941 and Regulation 3 of the Sea Fisheries (Bag Limits) (Jersey) Regulations 2016, prescribes the maximum number of fish that may be taken by any person on any day for Bass and Ormer and prescribes the maximum number of Ormer that may be taken by any vessel on any day. Limits for Bass and Ormer per person do not apply to fish taken on board of (a) a British fishing boat; or (b) a French fishing boat, in any part of the territorial sea in which the boat is authorized to fish under the Sea Fisheries (Licensing of Fishing Boats) (Jersey) Regulations 2003.
