Sea Fish (Prohibited Methods of Fishing) (Firth of Clyde) Amendment Order 2003 (S.S.I. No. 100 of 2003). Country/Territory United Kingdom Territorial subdivision Scotland Document type Regulation Date 2003 Source FAO, FAOLEX Subject Fisheries Keyword Marine fisheries Fishery management and conservation Enforcement/compliance Offences/penalties Geographical area Atlantic Ocean Islands, Europe, Europe and Central Asia, North Atlantic, North Sea, North-East Atlantic, Northern Europe Entry into force notes Entry into force on 25 February 2003. Abstract This Order substitutes the definition of "scallop dredge" in article 2(1) of the principal Order (art. 2(2)). This Order also makes a technical correction in relation to the powers conferred on British sea-fishery officers by article 4(4) of the principal Order. There is no offence under article 3 of the principal Order in relation to British fishery limits beyond the areas specified in article 3(1) of that Order and so the reference to British fishery limits is erroneous. This correction does not affect the scope of powers under article 4 in general or article 4(4) in particular (art. 2(3)).
